Time goes by too quick

Wednesday was the big day. Concert in Baltimore. Unfortunately we had no ticket for Bernd and the security won't let him in, so he had to stay outside all the time. He went to the next pier and listened to the concert from there. Baltimore is a nice town and worth visiting. He got such a bad mood that he did not want any pictures of him anymore.

Oh wondering to which concert we went, maybe you can recognize the musician on the picture I took. I had the feeling I would really need a reflex camera this time. My mobile took only bad pictures. Damn lighting

If you can not recognize him, here's a small hint. "I'm an alien, I'm a little alien, I'm an english ..."
You won't get more.

On Thursday it was time to leave Washington and head back to New York. This time we chose a seat on the other side of the train, so Bernd won't get bored of seeing the same buildings and landscapes again and keep him excited.
Next day we planed to visit Miss Liberty, you remember last time we only passed by on the ferry, the view we got was great but not as good as it would be when you're on Liberty Island. So we headed to the ferry and wanted to buy a ticket. Yes it costs a bit but how often would you have the chance to meet the Lady. Bad thing was that there was a hurricane warning so the boat won't stop at the island and would only ship around. At least saved the money. Last chance passed by to meet her.

Bernd got the idea that we could swim, but after looking at the distance and him probably getting some trouble with all the water we decided not to jump into the cold water.
So we walked around for a while, visited the Wall street, got through the security without any problems and took the subway to the beach.

No kidding, picture was taken in the subway.
After the ride with the subway we arrived at Rockaway beach, had a great time in the sun and enjoyed the good weather. Bernd found something to protect him from the sun.

When we walked along the beach we spotted some gulls. Bernd got a bit scared because he thought that they might plan to eat him

One thing that should be done we also did, we took this typical vacation pictures.

  

At the evening we went to the pier in Brooklyn , had a great sunset and good view on the Manhattan skyline.

 

Our trip to the USA was over much too quick and still so much left to see. Next time we gonna go a bit more to the south, don't know for sure were, but this traveling plans have much time.
Next trip in August is already planned, will also be good, I'm sure Bernd would love it.
